ビッグダディーって言っても大家族の方じゃないっす。９０年代HIP HOPの黄金期に欠かせないKANEさんです！昨日ライブ見に行ってきました。最終公演の回だったんで、会場も盛り上がってて楽しい息抜き出来ました。カーティス・ブロウも参加してたんですが動ける親父! 流石の一言。カーティス・ブロウは、もっと見たかった〜て言うのが本音です。物足りなかったけど・・・二人のエンターテイナーぶりを見られて良かったです。 Nuff Respect!!

この日はずっと徒歩でBagourou村からEndé、Téli、Kani Komboléへと歩いてみました♪ そのままKani Komboléで一泊、夕食の後灯りが見えたので行ってみると焚き火を囲んで子供達がコーランの勉強をしていました。この夜もピースな感じで就寝♪ That day, I walked from Bagourou to Endé to Téli and ended up in Kani Kombolé where I spent the night. After the dinner, I followed the glow of a burning fire where I found kids studying the Qur'an. A very peaceful night.

Tireli村を後にBegnimato村へ向けて出発するものの、気付けば道に迷いというか道なんてあるようでない感じなんですが幾つか小さな村を通過してようやくBengnimatoのふもとへ到着。そこから崖の頂上にあるBengnimatoへ徒歩々々登ると村が登場♪ここは眺めが半端ないです。この村ではモスクは見かけませんでしたが教会がありました。灯りらしい灯りはこの村にも無く、見えるのは教会のドアから漏れた一筋のランプ光と空一面の星ぐらいしかなく教会からは子供達の歌声と太鼓の音が響くこんな夜もまたいとおかし♪ We left Tireli heading to the next destination, Bengnimato. We were kind of lost on the road and passed through several small villages finally reaching the bottom of the cliff near Bengnimto. We hiked up to the top of the cliff which is where the village of Begnimato is located. The houses appeared as soon as you reached to the top of the cliff. The view was amazing. I didn't see a mosque but there was a church in the village. The village, like most others, has little if no light. Children were singing to beat of drums in the church. The only light we saw was a streak of light coming from the church. It shined bright amongst a black canvas sky full of stars. It made for a very peaceful night.

ドゴンの人々の挨拶は一言では終わりません。言葉のキャッチボール。知り合いでも他人でも道端で人に会う度に何度でもこの長い挨拶をします。家族、家畜、家、仕事などその時の気分で色々訪ねます。村や地域によって多少違いはありますが奥さんや子供に親の事を訪ねれば間違いなし。挨拶されたらとりあえずわかんなくても"セオウ(元気)"って答えれば大丈夫。この挨拶作法をマスターすればかなりの好感度アップ間違いなし♪ ネットでビデオみつけたんでチェケラッチョ。 Greetings are very important in the Dogon, just as they are throughout Mali. Even if you see each other several times a day, you will greet one another each time. Such a greeting may take a while and will even continue as the greeters pass each other by. They ask about the family, animals, home, work, etc., but it really depends on the mood. You cannot go wrong if you ask about the person's wife, children or parents. Even if you don't understand the people when they greet you, a friendly “sé-ouw(fine)” is a good enough answer. It would definitely make a great impression on Dogon people if you master it.
