Shinnecock Indian Powwow

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to go check out Shinnecock Indian's Harvest celebration Pow-wow at the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Eastern Long Island, New York. Shinnecock Indians are an Algonquin people who have forever lived along the shores of Eastern Long Island.
Ron's boy Chris who is from the Shinnecock Reservation showed us around the area and told us a little bit about his tribe. At this Pow-wow a lot of people came to celebrate, also many other tribes joined from all over the nation. I tried some Wampanoag food, such as Tumasis, quail meat, deer meat and buffalo meat. They were pretty tasty♪Big up to Chris for his great hospitality!
